Dr Geoff Lovell


PhD BSc (hons) Registered psychologist specialising in sport with Olympic, World Championship, and Commonwealth Games experience

Geoff has been a member of National teams as a coach and sports psychologist and worked with medal winners at World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Paralympics and European Championships.  Geoff is also an active researcher in sport and exercise psychology, is a speaker at international conferences, has written books and whose work has been included in international scientific journals. Geoff holds a psychology clinic at Performance Physio & Rehab, in Mooloolaba and lectures at USC.

Katrina Egan

Physiotherapist and Coach to Elite Athletes

As the principal physiotherapist at Performance Physio and Rehab, Katrina has over 20 year experience in the industry assisting everyday people and elite athletes. Katrina is a former Surf Ski World and National Champion having competed in a number of world class events. She is also a National Kayak Coach, and an active member of the Maroochydore surf lifesaving club. Kat’s hands-on approach and extensive experience as an athlete, coach and physio make her an incredible source of valuable and professional health and fitness advice and tips.

Mandy’s purpose is to inspire and empower ordinary people to become extraordinary individuals. Mandy has represented Australia in ultra distance triathlons and has competed in one of the toughest races of them all, the Hawaiian Ironman.  She has extensively studied the vast field of human potential and leadership and learned the importance of Mindset Mastery and how the strategies used for success in sport can be replicated for life and business. She specialises in helping people turn bad habits and negative patterns into positive strategies and behaviours for success in life and business. Mandy is based on the Sunshine Coast where she works with clients locally and Interstate.

Rachel Lovell


Olympian, Bsc (hons)

Rachel has been a member of the Great Britain and Australian sprint kayak national teams.  Rachel has competed all over the world, achieving numerous World Championship Finals as well as winning World Cup and European Championship medals.  in 2010 Rachel was a key member of the women’s K4 500 crew that placed 5th at the World Championships, securing her place at the London Olympics in 2012.  With two young children, Rachel proves that even if you have limited time, and family challenges, with organizational abilities and a healthy training environment you can achieve your goals and more.

Gary Slater

Senior Lecturer – School of Health and Sport Sciences – USC

Gary is a sports performance focused dietician and sports physiologist who has been working in elite sport since 1996. With a passion for helping athletes achieve their sporting ambitions, including those aspiring for Commonwealth & Olympic Games success, Gary combines hands on athlete servicing with researching the impact of diet on sports performance. He currently consults to athletes with Olympic aspirations as well as professional team sport athletes. Gary ensures the athletes he works with focuses on what works, leaving the latest dietary fad for others to worry about meaning those who work with Gary can be 100% confident in their nutrition strategies.

 

Nick Croft

Former professional triathlete
Former Triathlon Australia
Ironman Coach of the year

Nick Croft is a Former professional Triathlete and Triathlon Australia Ironman Coach of the year.  His is also two time winner of the Noosa Triathlon and three time Australian professional Team member at World Champions.  Nick won 35 events as a professional and holds the fastest Ironman time on debut at the time by an Australian of 8 hours 26 minutes in Europe’s oldest Ironman event.  At 27, Nick was struck down with ulcerative colitis and had a total colectomy (removal of the large intestine) and could no longer compete.  He started an online coaching company Multisport Consultants helping others achieve their triathlon and endurance goals and coaches people worldwide from the Sunshine Coast.

Brad Bacon

Cert 3 &4 in Personal Training, Level 1 Cross-fit Trainer,
Level 1 & 2 FMA Strength and Conditioning Coach, Competitive Cross-fit Athlete

Brad has spent the last 10 years studying the bodies’ physiological systems and the motivation within everyone that drives these systems. Brad has rehabilitated himself from a broken footy player to a highly competitive CrossFit athlete. He has an uncanny knack for cutting through the crap and dealing with meaningful information that has helped many athletes save themselves from years of chasing fad training ideologies, wasting their time and money, and getting no closer to their goals. In his words “Use only what works and master the hell out of it. Everything else is just a distraction.”

Tara Leong

Nutritionist

A university qualified nutritionist, Tara, also known as the Nutrition Guru, is often found cooking at midnight in her slippers and apron and enjoys making her friends bellies happy with her tasty treats. A former dance teacher and personal trainer she enjoys keeping active each day. She has a passion for busting diet myths and showing people simple and effective ways to live a healthy and happy life by eating whole foods and experimenting in the kitchen.

Gavin Heward

Health practitioner and science-based performance coach, rehabilitation and remedial specialist, functional diagnostic nutrition expert and high performance kinesiologist

Gavin Heward’s expertise is the culmination of extensive study and practice in the areas of science-based performance coaching, rehabilitation, remedial healthcare, functional diagnostic nutrition and high performance kinesiology. Gavin helps people reach significant health goals, including professional athletes who are able to surpass previous performance levels reaching once unobtainable heights. Gavin serves as the Performance Therapist for Basketball Queensland’s National Performance Program and guided a Para Olympic althlete who won a silver medal at the 2012 Oympics. Gavin is an International Academic Advisory Board Member for FMA Strength Training and is Clinical Advisor and Senior Mentor for Functional Diagnostic Nutrition International.

Corey Mouatt

BPHTY, Physiotherapist, entrepreneur and inventor of the body spanner.

Corey has been involved in the health and fitness industry for more than 15 years. He was an elite teenage athlete but he had a number of major injuries requiring multiple surgeries and ongoing rehabilitation so Corey decided to train as a physiotherapy to better understand the mechanism of musculoskeletal injuries. He wanted to “never have to rely on any one else to manage his body again.” He graduated from UQ and with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Corey has assisted teams within the AFL and NRL as well as professional Cycling teams, Triathletes and Swimmers to develop and implement injury prevention and self-management strategies. Corey’s passion is to help educate the individual and the recreational athlete who wants to participate in life and be the best they can be.

 

Bruce Conrad Williams
Emotional Mastery

Bruce Conrad Williams has over 34 years experience in public speaking and education, with a particular emphasis on personal empowerment. In 2011, he began a quest to find a simple and effective way to dissolve the distracting emotions that were undermining his health and fitness and holding him back from peak performance. In less than a year, Bruce had lost over 20 kgs and was fitter and more energetic than he’d been in his 30s with more focus, drive and enthusiasm than he’d ever experienced. He started teaching others some of the simple principles he’d learned and Emotional Mastery was born. He now has a thriving consultancy helping people around Australia and across the world to master their emotions so they are more empowered, engaged and effective in all areas of their lives. Emotional Mastery is life mastery.
